I have to write this down.
I don't think I have put any of this here yet. You probably won't believe any of it. I have to because I seen it. Here goes....
This happened a couple months ago.
I was watching stars and I noticed from my door that a bright star appeared at sunset. I wondered what it was so I looked it up on Stellarium. The star was Venus. I got on the cb later and blurted out a bunch of stuff. One of the things I said was how to spot Venus at sunset. A few days later I was up at 3am. I was sleeping on the floor. I looked at the window and there was a crack on the edge of the curtain maybe 1/2 inch wide through the crack I could see a star.I wondered what it was and I looked it up. It was the planet Mars. I was astounded. It was awesome, literally. If I hadn't been up at 3am sleeping on the floor at that exact time in that exact spot I wouldn't have seen it. A few days later I drove to a big city near where I live. I wanted to move and I was looking for a motel room. I couldn't find one so I tried sleeping in my car. I sat in a parking lot and I decided to watch Venus appear. I did that and I wanted to watch Mars rise. I moved across the road facing the other direction. Mars rose and I was again amazed to see something I couldn't believe. Mars rose in about 2 minutes. I thought it was a plane but I think now it wasn't. It rose to about the center of the sky and disappeared. I thought "that must have been a plane". A few seconds later I saw exactly the same thing The same planet, star, whatever, on exactly the same path, about the same speed. It rose to about the same spot and disappeared again. I stood there watching as it repeated several times.I think it was 5 but I wasn't counting.
The events that happened later were pretty amazing too.Ill save that for later. Now see all the stories you missed...
