the curse of cain
the curse of cain was to wander. wandering can have some bad effects on a person. without a home you have very little chance to start a business. life is more expensive when you have to pay for shelter. you lose your friends every time you have to move. the effort to belong somewhere can bring unscrupulous characters into your life. you yourself can become an unscrupulous character. you have no community. people distrust strangers. "good fences make good neighbors." a peaceful quiet place where your mind and spirit can settle. people get along better when everybody has nothing. no money or property to argue and fight for. fail to respect the wrong person and they will let you know that they are no better than you. "we are being invaded" turns into "ethnic cleansing". the government rules by the consent of the people but now that consent is created by the media. it's not popular to feel sorry for you. there's no mark to protect you. you are nothing to them. riffraff. the poor don't even get a grave. ashes to ashes.
I'm not a democrat or a republican. i lean one way but I don't agree with everything they say. be reasonable. don't be a fanatic. discuss don't argue. they say people abuse food stamps. I remember when we had paper food stamps. that was abuse. people would sell their food stamps. kids would buy candy and get change back in cash. they have virtually eliminated the abuse by comparison but they still complain. Democrats are incompetent.Republicans are greedy.
