between the media and the polls, our government can manufacture our opinion. are they going to fix anything or do they just want us to shut up so they can change the subject? Sometimes I think our leaders are malevolent but I would hope for leaders that are more benevolent and sympathetic. how come nobody compares our space program to the tower of Babel? I choose header pins over 1000 different proprietary connectors. I'd rather just get out my soldering iron. I'm the guy who used old phone wire for my breadboard. over 20 years ago i was online telling people that outsourcing electronics was bad for national security. common sense. People shouldn't go around patting themself on the back. I think there is a proverb that says that. "I told you so" means "too late".
